The New London Public Museum is hosting a Film, Fashion and Fun event on Saturday, March 30. This event is a collaboration of a variety of attractions and businesses in New London. Tickets are just $12 per person ($7 per person for FNLPM members) and must be purchased by March 18 at the Museum or online (below).

Open 10 am - 1 pm
Start your day at the New London Public Museum with their exhibit “Fashion” which explores innovations in the history of women's fashion. For today ONLY, the exhibit will include living mannequins wearing and explaining clothing from a variety of historical and vintage eras. Add to that a fun do it yourself souvenir brought to you by Rachel Karpf of Senna Designs and Wellness. Participants receive a swag bag of goodies, including coupons, a ticket to the vintage movie that evening and an entry form for some very special grand prizes.
Mosquito Hill Nature Center

Open 11 am - 3 pm
Explore the nature center’s educational exhibits and make mini wine cork succulent planters, warm beverages and snacks will be available for purchase.
425 E Fairview Dr, New London
Open 1 pm - 4 pm
Visit the historic Thern Farm to tour the house and have a “historic” portrait made.
Dining & Shopping
Don’t forget lunch at Familiar Grounds, and some shopping in downtown New London at Water Street Vintage, Simply Repurposed, and Water Street Boutique, before grabbing dinner (meals not included in ticket price) and heading over to the Grand Cinema Theatre.

Doors Open at 6:15 pm
Starting at 6:15 pm, in the original lobby of the Grand, you can enjoy a wine tasting courtesy of Familiar Grounds. Then at 7:00pm, join us for the vintage movie “The Women.” This glamorous Hollywood film stars Joan Crawford, Norma Shearer and many of the top actresses of the late 1930's.
