Friends of the New London Public Museum (FNLPM) was formed in 2008. FNLPM’s primary goal is to provide auxiliary funding for the needs and programs of the New London Public Museum, beyond its normal day to day operations. Each year, FNLPM plans to grant funds to the Museum that will enable the Museum to continue to:
- Provide events and educational programming to students, adults and families within our local community as well as tourists visiting New London.
- Offer changing exhibits that explore our rich history
- Preserve and promote our community’s history
- Safely preserve its collections for future generations
FNLPM’s primary source of funding is though charitable contributions to its Membership Program by community members who understand and appreciate the unique cultural resources that the Museum provides. You can help FNLPM achieve its mission—become a Member today!
